This year we are supporting New Hope Foundation and Blessed House in recognition of their outstanding efforts in the community.
New Hope Foundation
New Hope Foundation (‘Hope’) was established in 2002 by Dr Joyce Hill and Robin Hill. It provides care and medical treatment for abandoned babies with surgically correctable deformities. Currently Hope operates 5 facilities in Beijing and Henan province. With the recent expansion of the Zhengzhou unit, Hope has a current capacity to care for 357 babies. Since 2002, over 2000 babies were admitted to Hope, approximately 60% were saved. From those rescued, 473 babies were adopted while fostered at Hope. The rest were returned to the Children Welfare Institute through whom many of them were later adopted. New Hope Foundation has been registered in Hong Kong since its founding and obtained official registration under the China Ministry of Civil Affairs in 2011.

Blessed House
Blessed House was founded in 2010 with the aim of helping sick orphans within their foster home. The charity focuses on helping orphans receive care financially, medically and psychology. Blessed House assists babies, some of whom will require at least two to three surgeries or medical treatments before they are healed, to find a family. The charity organisation has helped almost 100 orphans in the past 5 years after which, most of the babies have been adopted.
